Jessica & Shaun

Jessica & Shaun

Jessica & Shaun

Jessica and Shaun’s love story began in 2015, when they met as coworkers at Dave & Buster’s in Woburn, MA. Shaun, the bartender, and Jessie, the server, often found themselves chatting at the service bar, forming a connection that grew stronger over time. In March 2022, Shaun proposed to Jessie at the same harbor where they shared their first kiss, after recreating their first date. Now, they celebrated their love in true fairytale fashion with a stunning wedding in Aruba.

The couple chose Divi Pure Ocean as their venue, with the beautiful day coordinated by Aruba Weddings For You. Jessica looked breathtaking in her long mermaid gown, featuring a sweetheart neckline with a deep décolleté. The dress was intricately embroidered and adorned with beaded embellishments, off-the-shoulder details, and an ample chiffon train with side columns to accentuate the mermaid shape. Her veil, with a delicate border trim, perfectly complemented her simple yet elegant updo. Jessica’s bouquet was a statement piece, featuring a lush mix of white roses, orchids, and tropical greenery, including palm and monstera leaves.

The bridesmaids wore sea green dresses, each selecting their preferred neckline, and their bouquets featured impressive arrangements of white roses, tied with ribbon, along with palm and monstera leaves to echo the tropical theme. The color of their dresses was also reflected in the ties worn by Shaun and his groomsmen, adding a cohesive touch to the ceremony. In a heartfelt tribute to those who are no longer with them, Jessica and Shaun included special details to honor loved ones. Jessica’s bouquet and Shaun’s pin both carried mementos, and a dedicated table adorned with picture frames and lit candles was set up to keep their presence close.

The couple exchanged vows beneath a simple yet elegant bamboo arch, draped in white fabric and adorned with greenery, hydrangeas, and white roses. The decor was understated yet stunning, allowing the natural beauty of the Aruba setting to shine through.

This wedding was also special for us, as it marked our introduction of film photography into our offerings. Our colleague Marald captured some incredible black-and-white film shots of the day, which he developed himself. There’s something undeniably magical about film photography, and it added a timeless quality to this beautiful celebration.

After the touching ceremony, the party got into full swing. This lively group knew how to have fun, and the highlight was a hilarious and entertaining YMCA dance by the groomsmen, complete with costumes. It was a everything a fairytale wedding should be. If you would like to document your own Aruba wedding with the perfect balance of creativity and commitment to true, natural representation, we are here to help!

Amanda & Matt

Amanda & Matt

Amanda & Matt

Amanda and Matt’s love story began on the sandy shores of Sea Isle, where they met through mutual friends and spent three inseparable days together. From the start, it was clear they were the perfect match—Matt, spontaneous and driven, complemented Amanda’s adventurous spirit.
Both avid travelers and dog lovers, they share a love for their two dogs, Bait and Pepper.

Having both visited Aruba before, Matt, who had been coming to the island for years, and Amanda, who fell in love with the island as well, decided there was no better place to tie the knot than in the tropical paradise of Aruba. Their wedding at the Hilton Aruba was nothing short of magical.

Amanda looked stunning in her white satin mermaid dress, which featured an open back in a V- shape adorned with buttons that cascaded down the length of the gown. She paired it with delicate rose gold kitten heels and a lace veil with a beaded border trim, tucked into her elegant
low ponytail. Her bridesmaids complemented her look with dresses in different shades of pale pink, perfectly matching Amanda’s unique cascading bouquet made up of pale pink roses, white peonies, and orchids. The bridesmaids carried small round bouquets of white roses, adding to the romantic feel of the day.

The wedding décor was elegant and minimalist, with white roses and lilies lining the aisle, creating a timeless and serene atmosphere. But it wasn’t all tradition—Amanda and Matt added plenty of fun, personal touches. Instead of a traditional bouquet toss, Amanda dedicated her bouquet to her mother, a heartwarming moment that touched everyone present.

The couple and their guests enjoyed a quirky and fun photo booth set up by The Little One Aruba, featuring a vintage VW wagon with playful accessories for guests to enjoy. The party hit full swing with flashing lights, fun sunglasses, and an energetic dance floor, giving the day a truly
unforgettable ending. And of course, no celebration would be complete without a visit from some four-legged friends! Sgt. Pepper’s Friends made an appearance with adorable puppies, much to the delight of the couple and guests. (For more on how you can have puppies at your wedding, check out our previous blog post!)

Amanda and Matt’s wedding was a perfect blend of elegance and fun, a reflection of their unique love story, and a celebration that will be remembered for years to come.

Michelle & Eugene

Michelle & Eugene

Michelle and Eugene’s wedding was a long time coming. Eugene vividly remembers their first date and the moment he knew she was the one. Five years ago, they were all set to get married in Massachusetts, but life had a wonderful surprise in store—they found out they were pregnant. The wedding was postponed, and as their family grew, they made new plans. Their son is the reason they didn’t get married in Aruba sooner, but now, they chose to honor Michelle’s aunt and
uncle, who frequently visited the island, by hosting a large ceremony for friends and family at the Aruba Hilton.

The wedding colors were a timeless combination of white and pink, creating an air of elegance and romance. The ceremony took place under a gazebo-style archway, draped in delicate organza with florals made up of white and pink roses, white hydrangeas, and accent greenery. White lanterns and additional floral arrangements adorned the arch, making it a breathtaking focal point against the backdrop of the Aruba beach.

Michelle looked stunning in her mermaid-cut dress, which featured thin straps, a low-cut sheer illusion bodice on the chest and sides, embroidered details, and subtle pearl beading. Her veil was long and graceful, cascading onto the pristine white sand. Eugene complemented her beautifully in a perfectly tailored navy blue suit. Their adorable children, serving as the flower girl and ring bearer, matched their parents in outfits that mirrored the elegance of the day.

The wedding was a beautiful mix of emotions—tears of joy, love, and plenty of laughter. It was a day filled with heartwarming moments, as family and friends gathered to witness Michelle and Eugene finally tie the knot after their long journey together. The joy of the day was palpable as they celebrated this long-anticipated moment.

Following the touching ceremony, the reception was all about fun and dancing. Guests danced late into the night, creating memories that will last a lifetime. It was another beautifully captured wedding, highlighting not just the couple’s love, but the deep bonds they share with their family and friends.

Michelle and Eugene’s wedding was a perfect example of how love, patience, and family can create the most beautiful of celebrations. If you’re dreaming of perfectly capturing your destination wedding with elegance and beauty, let us help you bring your vision to life.

Alexis and Ian’s love story started in California, where they met at a friend’s birthday party. Originally from San Francisco, Ian eventually moved to Boston to support Alexis’ career and be closer to her family, marking a big step in their relationship. Now, they’ve tied the knot in the stunning setting of the Aruba Marriott, where their journey continues with even more love and dedication.

The wedding’s theme was a dreamy blend of blue and pink, giving the day a vibrant yet elegant feel. The florals were particularly eye catching, with lush arrangements of roses in hues of pink, peach, and blue, accented with monstera leaves. These florals decorated the archway where the couple exchanged vows, creating a beautiful tropical backdrop. Even the reception area featured generous touches of color with the centerpieces, table settings, and chairs all tied together seamlessly. One of the most memorable décor pieces was a large lit “Aruba” sign that illuminated the beach, adding a personal touch to the destination celebration.

Ian stood out in a custom-made linen suit in a deep pink color, paired with a slightly lighter shirt that gave him a unique, handsome look. The groomsmen complemented him with beige suits and shirts that matched Ian’s bold pink. The bridal party brought the theme together with baby blue satin dresses in varying necklines, allowing Alexis’ radiant white gown to take center stage.

Alexis’ wedding dress was a custom creation from L’elite Bridal in Boston. The gown was a perfect fit, featuring sheer embroidered florals on the chest, sides, and train, which blended beautifully with the satin body of the dress. Her bouquet—a lush mix of pink, white, and blue flowers—added a final pop of color to her elegant look.

Jenna & Jon

Jenna & Jon

Jenna & Jon

Jenna and Jon’s love story began serendipitously in an Italian restaurant-turned-nightclub in New York. Little did they know that this chance meeting would forever change their lives. Their wedding in Aruba was a beautiful blend of elegance and beachy charm. The bridesmaids, dressed in mismatched sky blue dresses, added a modern twist to the wedding. This trend allowed each bridesmaid to choose a style she loved while staying perfectly coordinated. The
groomsmen looked dashing in a mix of blue and beige linen suits paired with crisp white shirts.

Jenna, the stunning bride, wore a fully embellished ivory mermaid dress with a chiffon train that added a dramatic touch to her look. Her updo was complemented by a light veil trimmed with crystal beads. The moment Jon picked up Jenna, the train flowed gracefully, creating a breathtaking effect. Her bouquet, a lovely mix of white and light blue roses, spray roses, and hydrangeas, with accents of greenery, added a fresh, romantic touch.

Before the ceremony, Jenna shared a first look with her bridesmaids. Their excited and loving reactions were a heartwarming start to the day. The first look with Jon was equally touching; he was awestruck by his beautiful bride. The couple chose to read their vows to each other in private before the ceremony, allowing us to capture their raw emotions in a truly intimate moment.

The ceremony decor was simple and clean, allowing the natural beauty of the Aruba beach to shine. The serene blue waters and peaceful boats anchored nearby perfectly complemented the wedding party’s colors. The Hyatt Aruba played host to this beautiful event, with a white wooden rectangular arch adorned with white roses, climbing plants, and eucalyptus serving as the centerpiece. The matching white chairs added to the elegant, minimalist vibe. As the ceremony progressed, the sky and sea’s blue hues transitioned into one of Aruba’s famous sunsets, creating a picture-perfect backdrop.

Jenna and Jon’s ceremony was filled with heartfelt moments as they exchanged their personal vows, officiated by Reverend Franklin from Fabulous Ceremonies Aruba. The love they shared was palpable and touched everyone present. The reception that followed was a joyous celebration of Jenna and Jon’s love, surrounded by friends and family. Noelle & Matthew

Noelle & Matthew

Noelle and Matthew’s love story began in an unexpected yet delightful way. On May 30th, 2020, right in the middle of the lockdown, they met on Bumble. Noelle swiped right… for the beard and the pancakes!

After their first date they felt an immediate connection, knowing right away that their bond was something special. After that first date, they talked every single day and went on numerous picnic park dates. Over the next few years, they laughed, worked, and traveled together, experiencing many firsts. The highlights of their travels were trips to Los Angeles, Puerto Rico, and Hawaii.

For their special day, Noelle and Matthew chose the Hyatt Regency Aruba. Their wedding coordinator from EPIC created a seamless and memorable experience. Dr. Franklin Croes officiated the ceremony, adding a personal and heartfelt touch to their vows. For more about Dr. Croes, visit Aruba Ceremonies and follow him on Instagram

Noelle looked radiant for her special day. Her gown featured delicate appliqué’s on the bodice, flowing into a mermaid silhouette that accentuated her figure. The dress was complete with a dramatic train, and her veil floated beautifully in the breeze.

Matthew looked equally handsome in a classic tan linen suit, paired with a crisp white shirt and a stylish tie, perfectly complementing Noelle’s stunning bridal look.

Post-wedding, Noelle and Matthew booked an island tour to capture their love in Aruba’s most vibrant and picturesque locations. The tour included stops at various colorful spots, adding a unique and fun element to their wedding album. Noelle and Matthew couldn’t have been happier with their experience with Aruba Wedding. They shared in a review: “We had the BEST time working with Aruba Wedding for our wedding photography needs. He was AMAZING to work with! He was punctual, professional, creative, encouraging, FUN—all the things!”

They opted for photography only on their wedding day and added the “island tour photoshoot” afterward. Natalie & Eugene

Natalie & Eugene

Natalie & Eugene

Natalie and Eugene’s love story is a demonstration of perfect timing. Though they attended the same elementary school and had mutual friends, they didn’t meet until the moment was just right. As Eugene eloquently stated in his vows, “True love is destined.” Their beautiful wedding at Tierra del Sol in Aruba was a perfect reflection of their unique story, and we were thrilled to capture every moment through our photography and videography services.

The couple shared a touching first look, where Eugene was visibly impressed by Natalie’s radiant beauty. Her dress, a masterpiece of delicate lace with ruches and intricate ivory, silver, and clear bead embellishments on the top, transitioned into a satin mermaid silhouette that hugged her figure perfectly and trailed into a graceful train. Natalie’s long veil danced in the wind, adding an ethereal touch to her look. Her bouquet, a nosegay of white roses, mirrored the elegant decor.

The bridal party looked stunning in sage satin slip dresses, while the gentlemen wore perfectly matching suits. This cohesive look was complemented by the elevated stage, which provided a spectacular setting for the group photo—definitely one of our favorites!

Tierra del Sol offered a spectacular open location with a panoramic view of the golf course nestled in Aruba’s rugged landscape and the wide-open ocean. On an open plateau, chairs were set up under a canopy draped in white chiffon, providing shade and comfort against the intense Aruban sun.

White roses adorned the aisle and the impressively large circular arch, elevated on a clean white stage. This setup ensured all guests had a perfect view of the couple as they exchanged their heartfelt vows. The flowers, dress, and veil beautifully danced in the wind, adding a dynamic element to the ceremony.

The entire event was dazzling, thanks to the amazing work of Deyanira Nohemi from WED Aruba. Deyanira, an independent wedding planner, has a remarkable talent for transforming visions into reality. Her attention to detail and creative flair ensure every event she touches is truly unforgettable. Her passion and dedication shine through in every aspect of her work, making her an invaluable asset to any celebration. The reception was a lively celebration where everyone danced the night away, clearly surrounded
by love and joy.

We had the privilege of providing both photography and videography for Natalie and Eugene’s wedding. Documenting their unique love story at this stunning Aruba destination was an absolute
pleasure. From the touching first look to the vibrant reception, every moment was filled with love and happiness, and we are honored to have captured it all.
